Veracruzana spoke about violence in relationships of gay and homosexual
men.

The evening session in Café Tercera Llamada
started with a presentation by Paulina Martinez and Emilia
Torres of the book Acercándome a la Diversidad Sexual recently
published by their organisation "Musas de Metal - Gay Women's
Association" |

The book presentation was followed by our
second Round Table Discussion in Café Tercera Llamada: Gender &
Social Transformations, Spaces & Identities (I)
with the
participation of several prominent Mexican activists from many
fields: Enrique Adar (Diversum México), Rodolfo Vitela (UNAM/Alternativa),
Federico C. Ruenes Torres (Foro de Hombres Gay) Jorge Yañes López
(DIVERSA APN), Emilia Torres (Musas de Metal), Agustín
Villalpando (Grupo Palomilla Gay/Enkidu Magazine) Salvador Zavaleta
Ramirez (DIVERSA APN), Manuel Amador (Foro de Hombres Gay) and Paulina Martinez
(Musas de Metal)
Thereafter, Concepción Ortega (Universidad
de la Laguna, Tenerife) gave us an orientation about recent social
transformations in Spain in general and the Region of the Canary Islands
in particular. |
