Submission Deadline for abstracts in English has been extended to 28. July 2006 for all sessions

Submission Deadline for abstracts in Spanish has been extended to 15 August 2006 

Abstract Requirements

500 word abstracts should be submitted to the organizing committee in English, Castillian, German or French as e-mail attachment by 27. July 2006. The conference languages will be English and Castillian. 

Papers should be of approximately 30 minutes duration (circa 8 - 10 pages).  Other forms of presentation, for instance workshops, panel debates and poster sessions will be considered on request.  

It is recommended to use the form below when submitting an abstract. However, abstracts will also be accepted as e-mail attachments to info@enkidumagazine.com 

Panel proposals should include a description of the panel’s theme, an abstract of each paper, the name of the panel chair, and a short bio from each participant.

Graduate and  postgraduate students are encouraged to attend and present papers. Selected papers from the conference will be published in book form.

Abstracts are to be submitted by the 27. July, 2006, along with the presenter’s name, address, telephone, email, and institutional affiliation. 

All correspondence for this conference will be conducted via email.

All conference delegates who have submitted an abstract and been included in the program for "The Chimalpahin Conference 2006: Colonial and Post-Colonial Remembering and Forgetfulness" are already pre-registered.

The registration will be completed at the registration desk when you arrive at the conference. Conference Delegates who arrive in Mexico City before the conference, can register at the registration desk between 10:00 and 11:45 on 14. October 2006 and 15. October 2006. During the conference, the registration desk will be open every day from 9:00 - 10:00 before the conference sessions start.

When you arrive at the registration desk you will be requested to show that you have paid the registration fee for your participant category. Students should be prepared to show proof of student status when they arrive at the conference (a current student ID from your institution is acceptable).
