All participants in the Enkidu Delegation
for the 1st World
Outgames Montréal 2006 are requested to register by using the form
available here. You are requested to register regardless if you are
participating in any of the academic, cultural or sports events or are a
non-playing, non-performing individual accompanying the delegation as
supporter or spectator. Each individual member of a sports team, a
perfomer group, the technical support team of a performer or a team or a
speaker in a panel session at the conference, must fill in an individual
form.
You
must ALSO register individually for the 1st World
Outgames Montréal 2006, even if you are part of a sports team, chorus or
band. If you do not have Internet access, you can contact the Registration
Department in Montreal and they will send you registration
information and forms by post. More information on the registration
process and the payment of the registration fee is available on the 1st World
Outgames Montréal 2006 homepage.

The 1st World
Outgames Montréal 2006 organizers are working on an Outreach
programme and hope to be able to offer bursaries for the
people from Eastern Europe, Asia, Africa and Latin America.
Further information on the Outgames Outreach Programme will be
available soon.
Enkidu is also negotiating
with sponsors, foundations and institutions to raise funds for
our delegation. In addition fund raising events will be organized

SPONSORSHIPS AND DONATIONS
If you or your company
would like to support the Enkidu
Delegation for the 1st World
Outgames Montréal 2006, there
are many ways in which you can contribute as a sponsor
or donor. For more information about sponsorship and
partnership opportunities, please contact Enkidu
Marketing - Communications Director Angel Velasco
at angel@enkidumagazine.com
if you are located in Mexico or Coordinator for Enkidu
Academic Events Lars Ivar Borge if you are
located abroad: liowlb@enkidumagazine.com
An event of this scale,
with some 16,000 participants, 250,000 visitors and 2.3
million spectators, will be a unique opportunity for
your company to show global presence.
»Important
notice for delegates intending to apply for a
scholarship or travel grant
If you
would like to apply for travel support or a scholarship
it is essential that you sign up as a participant in the
Enkidu Delegation for the 1st World
Outgames Montréal 2006 as soon as possible since our
fundraising team is working hard to raise funds for the
entire delegation and to organize sponsorship agreements
for the individual Enkidu teams in the different cities
and countries that send delegates to the Enkidu
Delegation for the 1st World
Outgames Montréal 2006.
Signing
up early as a participant in the Enkidu Delegation for the
1st World
Outgames Montréal 2006, increases your chances of being
eligible for funds to cover your conference fee and/or
travel and accomodation expenses. If many
participants sign up early, this will increase our
possibilities of providing attractive sponsorships and
scholarships for our delegation.
Enkidu
and the Outgames Outreach Programme probably will not be
able to sponsor all participants that apply for support
from the limited funds available. Participants who
are unable to finance their participation themselves,
should therefore in any case sign up as early as
possible to Enkidu Delegation for the
1st World
Outgames Montréal 2006, since we in that case
have better opportunities to assist participants
applying for funds from other sources, for instance
foundations, governmental or non-governmental
organisations, universities or trade unions. We will
assist by providing letters of recomendation,
confirmation letters and other supporting documentation
if you look for funding from alternative sources.
